Attending the Climate Reality Leadership Corps training hosted by former Vice President Al-Gore was not only a transformative experience, but one bestowed upon me as a great honor. As I was one of the scholarship recipients, I was flown out and hosted for a weekend where we all gained a deeper understanding of the climate crisis and the urgent need for action. Through engaging presentations and hands-on workshops, I deepened essential leadership and communication skills, including effective storytelling, public speaking, and strategic advocacy. This training empowered me to become a more effective climate advocate, inspiring and mobilizing others to join the fight for a sustainable future.
