💧 Protect Our Waters
“We all live downstream.”
The jacket that started it all. This piece was born in a moment of clarity during a lecture on water policy, when my professor exclaimed, “I mean... we all live downstream!” That line stuck with me and became the heartbeat of this design.
The back panel shows mountains feeding into rivers, with that mantra front and center — reminding us that water connects us all, and protecting it is a collective responsibility. The sleeve art takes it even further, with sacred salmon swimming down one arm and a “Water is Life” water-bearer standing on the other. A blue water-heart patch ties it all together with a dose of color and feeling.
This jacket has shown up at marches, river walks, and watershed moments. It's not just about awareness — it's about accountability.
💧 Featuring hand-printed designs + patches in homage to Indigenous water protectors.
