Citizens Climate Lobby Wild West Confrence

Attending a Citizens' Climate Lobby regional conference was instrumental in honing my skills in bipartisan communication and nonpartisan approaches to climate resilience. The conference provided a platform to engage with diverse stakeholders, including policymakers, economists, and community leaders. Through sitting on panels, participating in insightful bipartisan discussions and attending workshops, I gained a deeper understanding of the economic implications of climate change and the potential benefits of a “carbon tax” policy. This experience equipped me with the tools to effectively communicate complex climate issues to a broad audience and build consensus across political divides.

Skills Demonstrated:

  • Bipartisan Communication

  • Stakeholder Engagement

  • Policy Analysis & Advocacy

  • Interpersonal & Communication Skills

  • Consensus Building

  • Climate Policy Expertise
